These following Terms & Conditions set out the whole of our agreement relating to the supply of the goods to you by storybook.

In these Terms & Conditions:

• 'storybook' is the trading name of GEORGITSI STEFANI a company registered at the Tax Office of Glyfada (VAT number 137542635) and based in Voula, Greece. 'We' and 'us' means 'storybook',

• 'you' and 'your' means the person ordering goods under these Terms & Conditions,

• 'website' and 'site' means www.storybook.gr and

• 'business day' means every day of a calendar year except for weekends, statutory and public holidays.

The Contract Between You and Us

​

1. storybook must receive payment in full for the goods that you order, including delivery charges, before your order can be accepted. Once payment has been received, we will confirm your order by sending an email to you at the email address you have provided. This acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding contract between you and us on these terms.

2. storybook are entitled to withdraw from any contract in the case of obvious errors or inaccuracies regarding the goods appearing on our website. If an error or inaccuracy is discovered with regards to the advertised price of the goods that you have ordered, we will contact you as soon as possible by email. This will be to inform you of the correct price of the goods and to ask you if you wish to continue with the order at the amended price, or to cancel the order altogether.

Availability of Goods You Order

All goods are subject to availability. If storybook has insufficient stock to deliver some or all of the goods ordered by you, we will notify you by email at the email address provided by you, and inform you which orders have been satisfied and which have been rejected.

Any sum that has been paid by you for the goods will be refunded to you as soon as possible and in any event within fifteen (15) business days of your order. storybook is not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointment suffered.

Online Pricing

​

storybook selects and prices books for sale independently. Prices are subject to change without notice. Our book prices exclude delivery charges, which will be added to your shopping cart at checkout.

All charges for orders in Greece are in Euros (€). All overseas orders will be charged in their respective currencies, based on current exchange rates.

​

Our books prices are not subject to VAT in Greece; storybook is exempt from VAT as a small business. Oversees customers will be responsible for payment of any local taxes payable including VAT and will be required to pay extra for delivery and clearance, where necessary.

Promotions

​

Promotional prices exclude delivery charges. Promotions apply to listed titles only, which are subject to availability and change.

​

We reserve the right to withdraw a promotion at any time. We update our website as quickly as possible to minimise disappointment. 

 

Promotional Discount Codes

​

We may occasionally offer discount codes to customers. Discount codes:

• are exclusive of delivery charges,

• can only be used at time of purchase and not retrospectively,

• can only be used once per person during one transaction,

• can't be used with any other voucher, coupon or offer and

• are subject to their own Terms & Conditions.

We reserve the right to withdraw discount codes at any time. 

​

Gift Cards

 

eGift cards issued by storybook can be used as full or part payment for goods purchased on our website. eGift cards:

• are for personal use only; they may not be used for commercial purposes, including but not limited to resale.

• can be used for payment of goods of a higher value than the current gift card balance, on payment of the difference. 

• can be used for payment of goods of a lower value than the current eGift card balance. The remaining balance may be applied to future purchases.

• can't be exchanged for cash.

• are exempt from our standard Returns Policy.

Please protect your eGift card. storybook will not be held liable for lost or stolen eGift cards or any credit amounts on such eGift cards. 

We reserve the right to refuse to accept any eGift Card payment where it seems that a eGift Card has been tampered with, duplicated or where it is otherwise suspected to be affected by fraud. We reserve the right to amend these Terms & Conditions or to discontinue the eGift card scheme on reasonable notice.

Delivery of Goods to You

​

All door-to-door deliveries are made by courier service to the address you confirm when placing your order. 

​

All door-to-door delivery times quoted on the website are estimates only, based on normal processing times, as provided by our courier partner.

​

Attica 

Estimated delivery time: 1-2 business days. 

​

Cities outside of Attica

Estimated delivery time: 1-2 business days. 

​

Crete

Estimated delivery time: 1-2 business days. 

​

Islands (excluding Crete)

Estimated delivery time: 1-5 business days. 

​

Cyprus

Estimated express delivery: 2-3 business days

Estimated standard delivery: 7-10 business days

​

Delivery times during the peak Christmas & Easter seasons may vary.

​

If a package is returned to us as undeliverable by the courier service, you will be issued a full refund for the ordered goods, excluding the packaging & delivery charges, within fifteen (15) business day of the return of the package to us.

​

Alternatively to delivery via courier service, we offer the option of delivery at a locker location specified by you at checkout.

​

All locker delivery times quoted on the website are estimates as provided by our locker partner.

​

Greece mainland: up to 2 business days

Greek islands: up to 3 business days

Cyprus: up to 3 business days

​

All delivery charges are calculated at checkout.

​

​

Force Majeure

​

storybook shall have no liability to you for any failure to deliver goods you have ordered or any delay in doing so or for any damage or defect to goods delivered that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond its reasonable control.

​

Customs Charges

​

If you are ordering goods for delivery outside of the Greece, please note that your consignment may be subject to VAT or other taxes, customs duties and/or fees levied by the destination country. Any such charges levied in relation to customs clearance must be borne by you. storybook has no control over additional charges in relation to customs clearance.

​

We recommend that you check with your local customs officials or post office for more information regarding importation taxes/duties that may be applicable to your online order.​

​

Returns 

​

1. If the goods delivered to you are not what you ordered or are damaged or defective or the delivery is of an incorrect quantity, you may notify us of the problem via email addressed to info@storybook.gr, within ten (10) business days of the delivery of goods in question. 

2. If you notify us of a problem under these conditions, we will either replace any goods that are damaged or defective at our own cost, or refund to you the full amount paid by you for the goods in question, including delivery charges.

3. storybook shall have no liability to you, unless you notify us under these conditions.

4. storybook will not be liable to you for any indirect or consequential loss or damage arising out of any problem you notify to us under this condition and we shall have no liability to pay any money to you by way of compensation, other than to refund to you the full amount paid by you for the goods in question.

Cancellation of Your Order

​

There are certain circumstances in which you may withdraw from the contract. This right to withdraw does not apply to customers buying goods on behalf of a business.

 

• You may cancel your order for goods at any time up to the end of the seven (7) business day after the contract has been formed. You do not need to give us any reason for withdrawing.

• To cancel your order you must notify storybook in writing via email addressed at info@storybook.gr. The original receipt is required.

• If you have received the goods before you cancel your order, you must send them at your own cost and risk to the address we will confirm via email to you. The goods returned must be in perfect condition. 

• Once we have received the returned goods,  any sum that has been paid by you for the goods, excluding delivery charges, will be refunded to you as soon as possible and in any event within fifteen (15) business days of the receipt of the returned goods.

Governing Law

​

The contract between us shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with Greek law, and the Greek courts shall have jurisdiction to resolve any disputes between us.

While storybook does its best to ensure the optimal performance of its website, you agree that you use this site and rely on material contained in this site at your own risk. The website, and all materials in this site, are provided “as is” and, to the fullest extent permitted by law, are provided without warranties of any kind either express or implied. This means, without limitation, that storybook does not warrant that the site is fit for any particular purpose, that the functions contained in the materials in the site will be uninterrupted, that defects will be corrected, that the site is free of viruses and other harmful components or that the Site is accurate, error free or reliable.

You acknowledge that storybook including their directors, employees and representatives is not liable for:

1. any delays, inaccuracies, failures, errors, omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects, viruses, communication line failures or for the theft, destruction, damage or unauthorized access to your computer system, mobile device or network.

2. any defamatory, offensive or illegal conduct or material found in connection with this site, including such conduct or material transmitted by any means by any other person.

3. any damages, including, without limitation, direct, incidental, special, and consequential or punitive damages, loss of data, income or profit, loss of or damage to property and claims of third parties, in connection with or arising from your use or from your inability to use the website.

We have used our reasonable endeavours in preparing our own website and the information included in it is done so in good faith. All other trade marks, product names and company names or logos used in this site are the property of their respective owners. No permission is given by storybook in respect of the use of its or any such other trade marks, product names, titles or logos and such use may constitute an infringement of the holder's rights.
